Valaé Skin Aesthetics – Full Terms & Conditions
1. Appointments & Cancellations
- All online bookings must be made via Fresha, our secure booking platform, or in person at the clinic. By booking with us, you acknowledge that Fresha will process your personal data in accordance with their Privacy Policy.
- Appointment availability depends on practitioner schedules. Continuity with one practitioner cannot be guaranteed.
- Consultations may be recorded for training, safety, and insurance purposes. Notes are stored securely in line with GDPR and deleted in line with retention rules.
- At least 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or reschedules. Less notice will result in loss of deposit or prepaid session.
- Missed appointments (including package sessions) will be charged in full or deducted from the course.
- Appointments are non-transferable between clients.
- Late arrivals may result in shortened or lost appointments, with deposits forfeited.
2. Deposits & Payments
- A non-refundable deposit is required for all bookings and deducted from the treatment price on the day.
- Deposits remain non-refundable if you attend consultation but decline treatment.
- The balance must be paid in full on the day unless prepaid.
- Advance payments are non-refundable unless medical unsuitability is confirmed in writing by a GP.
- Courses/packages must be paid in full before the first session and are non-refundable and non-transferable.
3. Treatment Courses
- All courses/packages must be used within 24 months of purchase. Unused sessions are forfeited.
- Results vary and are not guaranteed.
4. Suitability for Treatment
- Suitability is assessed at consultation. If unsuitable, we will explain why. Consultation fees (if any) are non-refundable.
- Clients are responsible for disclosing full medical history. Failure to disclose may result in cancellation and loss of deposit.
5. Refusal of Treatment
- Valaé Skin Aesthetics reserves the right to refuse treatment at any time due to contraindications, undisclosed conditions, or inappropriate behaviour.
6. Liability
- Valaé Skin Aesthetics is not liable for indirect losses (e.g. lost income) or consequential damages.
- Clients must follow all pre- and post-care instructions.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for personal injury or death caused by negligence.
7. Special Offers & Vouchers
- Discounts/promotions apply to RRP only and cannot be combined.
- Vouchers are non-refundable/non-transferable. Missed appointments void the voucher.
- 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule voucher bookings.
- Free/promotional treatments must be taken in the same session and cannot be split.
8. Pregnancy & Medical Changes
- If you become pregnant or medically unable to continue treatment, a credit note valid for 24 months will be added to your Fresha account.
9. Data Policy & Communication
- Your details are stored securely in compliance with GDPR.
- We may contact you about appointments, aftercare, or safety information as part of our service obligations.
- We will only send promotional or marketing communications if you have explicitly opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Apart from our booking partner Fresha, we will never share or sell your data with third parties.
10. External Requests
- Administrative requests (e.g. by solicitors or insurers) may incur an administration fee.
11. Governing Law
- These terms are governed by the laws of England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. For details of how we collect, use, and store your personal data, please also see our Privacy Policy.
